I am excited to be starting my 7th year at Brant Christian and working with an outstanding staff that is dedicated to serving God, our students and our parents. My teaching career started in my old high school in Quebec after graduating from the University of New Brunswick with my degree in Education (PE major). After 3 years I headed west to Alberta and taught at Calgary Christian School before heading to Saskatoon to complete a Master's degree in Education Psychology. I left Saskatoon with a degree and my wife Michele, who is now a director of care at a nursing home in Calgary. I worked as a counselor at Mount Royal College for a year before moving to Canmore to be a counselor at Canmore Collegiate. I became director of the Tim Horton Ranch in Kananaskis for 5 years. Michele and I left Canmore, now with 2 sons, Eric, who currently teaches at Heritage Christian and Andrew, a firefighter with Calgary Fire. I was a counselor with Foothills School Division before joining Glenmore Christian Academy as a VP for their junior high division.
This year I will be teaching PE for grades 1 - 6, Bible 7/8, Health 7 - 9 and a couple of classes for grade 9 English and grade 7/8 Social. I hope to be coaching badminton in the spring as well as track and field. I enjoy staying active and love to cycle, ski and golf and relaxation for my wife and I can be found on a cruise ship.
